Guest Doodle!

Whoa, guys! (This is going to be an epic post.) It's just been a really fantastic summer so far. And we're only, what...two weeks in!? I'm going to explode or something.

Anyway, like I said. This is going to be a kickbutt post. For two reasons: 1) It's a guest doodle! and 2) I'm posting a crazy cool animation that you guys just have to check out. But first! A little background for you. The guest doodler for the day is my dear friend Ankit. He's beyond talented! I can't say that I know the animator of the video, but my friend David was the one that linked us to it. Ok, shutting up.

Ankit will be gracing us with his AWESOME doodle series "Pieman" from time to time. He also does amazing collage thingies. I'm not sure what you call them, but maybe he'll let me post one, because...WOW.

And here's the animation:

Hope all this talent rubs off on me somehow.

It's almost the weekend! Have a great one! Go get some ice cream. I'm going to see Toy Story 3. OHYEAH.

See ya,

Crayon, you're toast.

CS5 arrived. It's beeeautiful! So this is the last of the dinky crayon doodles. (I think.)
Winner: Mr. Mouse!

This past weekend was a blast! Two BBQs with some really lovely people. And I think I'm going bowling tonight? I'm really terrible at it. We'll see!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summers!

Lunch break!

This is what I did on my lunch break. Still no Photoshop or Wacom of my own. So more Paint doodles and crayon hating.

Fingers crossed that the UPS person will bring me an Adobe gift this afternoon. WELL, back to work!

Hey, UPS hook me up!

Ok, so. I'm waiting (im)patiently for Photoshop and the rest of CS5 to arrive here. Here's a crap doodle I did in Paint with the track pad to tie me over. Waaay lame. But Paint has a new crayon brush stroke and I wanted to try it out. Too bad I don't even like crayons.

Womp, womp.

Bed time,

Going, Going, Gone!

Wow, moving out is such a chore! After that chaos, I took the Amtrak to Michigan to visit Mandy! First train ride and first visit to "the mitten". Hope to do it again. I had a blast! Thanks Mandy, Gary and little Walter for having me!

As per request, here is a marsupial doodle. It's lacking some oomph and variety, I know. But better doodles to come! Plus, I should be doodling more consistently once I settle down in LA.
That joey has got some super bushy eyebrows..

So I leave tomorrow! CANNOT WAIT. Gotta pack and go-go-go!

Sunshine and baby animals,
